Saluting The Chinese Army Day

China's Army Day, also known as the "81建军节," is one of our country's important holidays, commemorating the establishment of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. This special day falls on August 1st each year, in remembrance of the day in 1927 when the Communist Party of China and the Central Military Commission officially issued the order to form the People's Army, marking the birth of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Since its inception, the Chinese People's Liberation Army has been the strong backbone and crucial force in safeguarding our nation. Whether in the Liberation War, the Korean War, flood control missions, disaster relief efforts, or other significant events, the PLA has displayed extraordinary bravery and loyalty. They have always prioritized the interests of the people, fearlessly marching forward to defend our country's peace and security.

On Army Day, solemn commemorative events take place all over the country. In military camps, soldiers stand in formation, ready for inspection, showcasing their mighty appearance. In various communities, people express their respect and well-wishes to the PLA through symposiums, TV programs, and other means.

Over the 96 years since its establishment, China's military has undergone earth-shaking transformations. Modern weaponry and strong combat capabilities are the results of the PLA's commitment to reform, innovation, and constant progress. Additionally, the Chinese military actively participates in peacekeeping operations, contributing to world peace and stability.

However, we must also realize that defending our nation and maintaining peace are endeavors that require continuous effort. We need to maintain confidence in military construction, enhance modernization, and continuously improve the PLA's combat effectiveness. Only by doing so can we better fulfill the mission of our armed forces, safeguard our homeland, and protect our country's security and dignity.
